Rukmini Maitra began her modelling career when she was 13 years old. She has worked as a model for a number of regional, national, and international companies like ‘Reliance’, ‘Vodafone’, ‘Femina’, ‘Emami’ and ‘Sunsilk’. This beauty has also appeared on magazine covers like ‘Beauty Magazine’, ‘Femina Bangla’ and ‘Sananda Magazine’. This actress made her acting debut in 2017 with the Bengali film ‘Chaamp’ in which she played Jaya Sanyal role. She completed schooling in Carmel Convent School in Kolkata and then Loreto College to complete her education.
In the following years, Rukmini Maitra finished her MBA in Communication Management at IIM Kozhikode. She is currently seen as a judge in ‘Dance dance junior season 3’. Rukmini Maitra injured her knee while practicing dance for that event. She is doing well after surgery.
